Captivate 2019 quiz erratic after converting to html5
Our company paid Lasselle Ramsey (LR) to make several eLearning courses for us, six or more years ago. They used captivate. I have been using captivate for years. We received the project files from LR when our contract ended. I needed to republish to html5 last year or so. I opened the captivate project file in Captivate 2019, removed the SWF elements, and published to html5 in 2021. All went fine for a while.
However, now we are see many students experiencing issues with the final quiz. The quiz will move to the next slide, even before the student clicks the submit button, sometimes the question won’t report correct or incorrect even after clicking the submit button, etc. I am wondering if something got “messed up” during the converting to html5. I tried republishing several times, with no luck. I’m wondering if I need to delete all the quiz questions and results slide and “re-add” the quiz questions fresh. Any ideas? Thanks for any help. BTW, the courses are proprietary to my company and pretty large (105M). Are there any size limits for uploading project files so you can look them over? Are there any safeguards (in Adobe) regarding me uploading proprietary courses?
