Adobe Captivate Macbook Pro No Audio Narration, System Audio, or Ability to Add Audio to Video Demos
I have been using Adobe Captivate for some time now. One of my favorite features of Captivate over other e-learning software is that although it can be a bit more complex, the trade-off is that it offers several features in one package. Thus if I want to make a very quick video demo and add that cpvc file to a responsive learning project I can. Or if I need to make just a quick video tutorial to demonstrate to my team how to accomplish something I have discovered, I can. This versatility, in one tool, is amazing.
I have exclusively used Captivate on a PC but my new company primarily operates on Mac and I am adjusting but Captivate is not lol. I have attempted several times to record a quick video demo, I’m talking for under 5 minutes, and adding live narration. The video recorded fine but the audio did not appear. I attempted to add audio to the video after and got an infinite spinning wheel. I have attempted changing privacy and secerty settings, restarting, removing dual monitor set up, using an external mic, and the native Macbook mic, and still am unable to get audio to record with a video demo. I can add audio to objects in responsive projects.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I do not want to learn a new e-learning software.
