Non-Logged in page for learners in Adobe Learning Manager Native application.

Adobe Learning Manager native portal will support Non logged in way of accessing the training site.

This feature as an ability to allow ALM Admins to create a learning portal that can be browsed by general public without requiring to login.

Prerequisite: Training Data access connector must be enabled for the Non-logged in homepage

Training Data access connector

Use the Training Data Access connector to export training metadata to Adobe Learning Manager based non-logged-in interface and regularly synchronize training information. This enables the interface to render correct information to learners and realize a seamless training search.

Training Data access connector must be enabled in your Adobe Learning Manager account.
This specific functionality is available only if Adobe Learning Manager is sold as an Add on to Adobe Experience Manager.
In case you only wish to use this feature within the Native portal, you can contact the Adobe Learning Manager support team(learningmanagersupport@adobe.com) or your ALM account manager (CSAM) for assistance.

The following steps can be followed if your account already has the feature Training Data access connector enabled:

Integration Admin

Login into your ALM account as an Integration Admin > Connector > Training Data Access > Connect

Enter the Connection Name > Please select the Type of interface as Native Learning Manager > Click on Connect

Upon creating the connection, click on Training Metadata to enable the feature and export training metadata.

Click on the checkbox – Enable training metadata export using this connector > Click Save.

When executing the connector for the first time, please do an on-demand export of Training Metadata to push all the training onto your Non-logged in page. Upon completion of the execution, the page can be created.

Non logged in Homepage creation:

Steps to be taken:

In the Admin portal, select Branding > Choose Non-logged In Homepage

The Non-logged in page lets you customize what the learners will see on the homepage for non-logged in learners.

Currently, there are three sections you can customize: Banner, Categories, and Catalog

Step 1: Banners:

Banners can be added to promote a marketing announcement or feature the trending topic of the day.

Select Add banner.

You can also provide a link as an action button with the banner image.

Step 2: Add categories.

This component can be used to filter catalog by Skills, Tags, and catalog. This section contains a header and description for each category. Upon clicking, the user is redirected to the catalog page with the applied filters.

Select Add category. Then enter the details for the category.

Save the category. The category is added to the section. Currently three categories are mandatory.

Step 3: Catalog

This catalog section by default this will show all the trainings which is available in the Platform.

Learners can choose trainings based on their interests.

Filters will be applied to the Non logged in page according to your ALM account settings.

After adding all the section information click on Save

The Homepage URL will be generated.

Non-logged-in learners will be able to view the training and register themselves to gain access to it through the non-logged-in page.

In the Non-logged In Homepage setup page > Under Default profile for user-registration > Click on Change

A pop-up will appear for Selection.

In the Non-Logged in page, Admin will decide how the Learner needs to register with their ALM account.

For the learner to get registered, you can select any option. In case the learners need to be registered as internal users, you can select the Internal Profile (for self-registration) option and select the Self-registration profile name from the dropdown.

In case they need to be registered as external users, you can select the External Profile and select the profile name from the dropdown.

Based on the above setup, Once the Learner clicks on the training, they will be redirected to the Self registration page to register themselves and access the training.
